Valle D’Aosta
Comments OffThis is a view of the Valley of Aosta, and of the town St Vincent. The painting is from a photograph taken mid-way on a mammoth 42km cycle ride, where at the start we climbed nearly a thousand metres (ie we started in the town below!). The mountain covered in snow in the background is Mont-Blanc.

Comments OffWorld Map on bedroom wall
Comments OffI painted this world map on my bedroom wall in 2004 after I left school, and before I went off to university. It took me about 2 straight weeks to complete, and was one of the most enjoyable paintings I’ve ever done. There are a few geographical mistakes, around Iraq and Turkey in particular, but I was drawing freehand from a mini-atlas!
Lots of people asked me whether I managed to do it in 4 colours. Unfortunately not, its 5 – I already felt I should get out more!
